300 public sector leaders collaborated on the Vocean platform during 'Offentlig Chef 2024' to solve complex societal challenges in just 50 minutes

The Challenge
Bringing together 300 leaders on the Vocean platform during the event “Offentlig Chef 2024” was an ambitious challenge. The goal was to create a focused environment where leaders could share insights and collaborate to solve some of Sweden’s complex challenges. By using the Vocean platform, the process was streamlined to maximize the result within a short time frame. The challenge was to generate solutions for innovation and improvement in the public sector in 50 minutes with the question “How do we build the right conditions for co-creative leadership?”.
This hackathon represents an innovative vision for how leaders in the Swedish public sector can come together to solve challenges. We are extremely proud of the outcome of this event and see it as an opportunity to truly demonstrate the value that can be created by thinking together with the Vocean platform as support.
The Process
From idea to report in 50 minutes with 300 leaders
Generate Challenges
Participants used Vocean to quickly generate and share ideas in four pre-determined categories of challenges. For each category, the participants spent a few minutes generating specific challenges.
Engagement-Based Filtering
Participants spent a few more minutes liking each other's submissions in the platform. Vocean's AI could thereafter highlight the four most prominent challenges, based on the engagement of the participants.
Solution Generation & Prioritization
Participants then spent time generating solutions to the highlighted challenges, which were finally prioritized by the participants in terms of the possible positive impact.
AI Analysis & Reports
In just a few minutes, Vocean's generative AI, Copilot, was able to perform analysis based on the 3,300 interactions collected and create four comprehensive reports. This enabled immediate in-depth insights and concrete conclusions. The reports have been delivered to the Swedish government.
Results & Impact
Frontits användning av Vocean-plattformen under sitt ledarskapsevent i Örebro demonstrerar tydligt hur tekniken underlättade och förbättrade interaktiviteten, vilket även ökade engagemanget och kunskapsutbytet under dagen. Istället för renodlade föreläsningar hade man mer fokus på deltagarcentrerad interaktion där deltagarna enkelt kunde ställa frågor, komma med idéer och på olika sätt samskapa och berika varandras bidrag.
